Oceanfront Renovation
This Waihi Beach bach has been completely modernised, blending comfort and practicality with a clean coastal aesthetic. The renovation introduced new outdoor living zones, including spacious decks and louvre-covered areas at both the front and rear, designed for year-round entertaining. A new pool anchors the outdoor space, framed by low-maintenance materials built to withstand the harsh coastal conditions.
Robust aluminium cladding and roofing ensure long-term durability, while the Flashclad Dualboard Vertical Cladding System gives a subtle nod to the home’s original board-and-batten character. Inside, the reconfigured layout brings a sense of space and connection to the oceanfront. The master suite features its own lounge, separated by a large over-wall sliding door that opens to the views beyond.
Along the ocean side, the kitchen, dining and living spaces flow together seamlessly, creating a relaxed, social atmosphere. A bunkroom and bathroom off the pool area provide the perfect retreat for younger guests. Compact but cleverly planned, this bach offers all the essentials for multiple families to holiday in comfort, complete with smart home technology and integrated climate control.
